Week 3 Brakes We have been learning disassemble and replacement of components in drum and disc brakes. I was sick for three days during the week so I did not experience everything but I really do like how much easier truck brakes are to work on then a car or light duty trucks. The drum style brakes (shown above) can be taken apart if your good in less then a minute and for a truck shop they are easy and quick money. The newer style discs are about just as easy if you are just replacing pads. I wish I could have been at school for the rest of the week to learn more about tires. I am excited to see what next week brings and eager to learn more.
